AWS Week in Review - October 1st to October 7th, 2012

 

Let's take a quick look at what happened in AWS-land last week:

Monday, October 1	We launched the AWS Test Drive program to make it easier for you to get started with Oracle applications. Jeff's UK counterpart Ryan Shuttleworth posted the slides from his AWS for the Retail Industry webinar.
Tuesday, October 2	AWS released a new version of the AWS SDK for Ruby. You can now customize Elastic Beanstalk using configuration files.
Wednesday, October 3	AWS launched the Mailbox Simulator for the Amazon Simple Email Service.
Thursday, October 4	Amazon S3 now supports website redirects.
Friday, October 5	AWS enabled sharing of Elastic MapReduce job flows across IAM accounts.
Sunday, October 7	The AWS Marketplace now supports Identity and Access Management.
